On May 14th, we wrapped up our very first outreach, and we are so thankful for what God did.

We were able to serve 35 people with a warm meal of chili and a bun, along with coffee and bottled water. The response from those we served was incredible, and we were deeply encouraged by the conversations and connections that took place throughout the evening.

One of the most meaningful moments came when four Bibles were given out.

I want to be clear — we did not force them on anyone. The Bibles were simply sitting in the back of the van, and several people who came for drinks noticed them and asked if they could have one.

One lady shared about her father and how he taught her the Bible when she was younger. She spoke about how she still remembers certain verses to this day.

Moments like that remind us that of all the things we can do, helping people reconnect with God is the most important.

Doors are opening, and we ask that you would continue praying for our efforts as we move forward.

Looking Ahead

Right now, our outreach team serves every other week.

God willing, beginning in September, we hope to form two dedicated outreach teams that will allow us to serve weekly rather than biweekly.

Currently, we are using one of our volunteers’ vans, but this will not serve the ministry long term. We are exploring options for purchasing a ministry van and would greatly appreciate anyone who feels led to partner with us in this need.

Our hope is to purchase a passenger van that allows seating for seven people while still providing room to serve from the vehicle. This would help us travel together as a team to the outreach locations.

Right now, our core team consists of Andy, Mike, Stu, and Tim. We also have 2–3 open seats in the van for anyone who may not be able to commit regularly but would like to come along and experience the ministry firsthand.
